Still Waters Meave, aka call name "Tallulah" is something pretty special!. She's got great breed character in every way, shape, and form. Her udder is wonderfully attached and shaped, with nicely blended foreudder extension. Her udder arch is wide and high, holding up great as she's aged. She produces consistently and wonderfully, peaking at 10 lbs per day in 2017 (and 2018, 2019, and 2020); her udder is soft, capacious and pleasant textured; her teats are not too small but not too large, perfect for hand milking; her orifices are very open, so she milks out quickly; and to top it all off, she is very very friendly but not pesty or noisy. She has a will to milk and has been milked through without freshening, and does very well with once-a-day milking. She has very nice dairy strength, with nice all around front end assembly, a fantastic brisket, sharp, tight withers, tight elbows, and pasterns that have stayed strong as she's aged. Her rump is long and wide, her rear legs have good angulation with strong pasterns there as well. Her shoulders and neck are very nicely blended as well. t is almost impossible to take a picture of her without a person in it too! Pictured at the bottom of the page is her third and fourth freshening udder, as well as recent (Feb 2021) pictures of her as an aged doe. She's held up incredibly well!
2021 at 9 years old after gifting us 7+ lb. b/d twins, 3 days fresh. Sorry the photo's not totally in focus, but you can still see her conformation and udder.
